In the 20th minute, Sonny Majman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cornelio Marcou kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Jacinto Cross made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixten Tunström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, Jacinto Cross cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Sixten Tunström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pepsi FC's Sixten Tunström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Mella in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Drake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Drake came free, but Rutenio Poveda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talcampeón FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pepsi FC the free kick. In the 85th minute, Cosme Mella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixten Tunström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Francisco Maffey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Talcampeón FC played a much better game than Pepsi FC and deserved their victory. The Pepsi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
