In the 3rd minute, Gabriel Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Elizardo in the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo CIMZ's zone, Aurelio Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Tasso came out of the goal and Aurelio Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Aurelio Elizardo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tarcisio Tasso to make any attempt to save it. Cafu Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Noe having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Flamengo CIMZ's Cafu Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Noe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Cafu Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Metapalo FC booed when Flamengo CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Elizardo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Elizardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Aurelio Elizardo hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Arruda came free, but Feliciano Noe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tarcisio Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Noe having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cafu Torres to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Dráuzio Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Noe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Flamengo CIMZ's Dráuzio Amaral got a free kick in the 68th minute. Feliciano Noe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Torres went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Leonides Ledesma got a free kick in the 76th minute. Metapalo FC's Joel Nuxila got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tarcisio Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
