In the 2ndth minute of the game Honorio Sanchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metapalo FC's Feliciano Noe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 minutes Metapalo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeo Confesor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Club Atlético Magallanes's Andres Emmanuel to fire away a dangerous shot which Feliciano Noe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Honorio Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Inge to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Enzo Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Indartsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Elizardo in the 18th minute of the match. Feliciano Noe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Isidoro Garcia got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Feliciano Noe made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Maximo Joanes sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Honorio Sanchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliciano Noe was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Romeo Confesor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feliciano Noe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Isidoro Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Isidoro Garcia hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Feliciano Noe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Garcia got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Garcia to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Honorio Sanchez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliciano Noe. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Sanchez to make the kick off. Aurelio Elizardo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Erasmo Indartsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metapalo FC. Club Atlético Magallanes's Erasmo Indartsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Magallanes from getting a goal against them. Erasmo Indartsu was a little too slow when Aurelio Elizardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-1. Metapalo FC's Feliciano Noe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Sanchez in the 75th minute of play.
