Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roque Mora's shot from long distance in the 4th minute was not bad at all, but Balus Treter's Emanuel Greshake knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Franco Mussoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute, Delf Adler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Valiente Tebar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuel Greshake. Valiente Tebar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenobio Walendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Marcelo Calenga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emanuel Greshake but with some difficulty. 31 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Gallego came free, but Emanuel Greshake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiri Rilke during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jiri Rilke hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Gabriel Gallego recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuel Greshake. Emanuel Greshake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Balus Treter defense, Franco Mussoll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Greshake. The Balus Treter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Greshake should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Balus Treter's zone, Gabriel Gallego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Greshake came out of the goal and Gabriel Gallego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulus Schommer was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Valiente Tebar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balus Treter! Balus Treter:s Emanuel Greshake showed great skill when he stopped Gabriel Gallego:s penalty. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jiri Rilke hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Franco Mussoll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balus Treter's Emanuel Greshake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Mussoll came free, but Emanuel Greshake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Villafane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delf Adler, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Gabriel Gallego might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Greshake. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Gallego ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuel Greshake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Mussoll, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Zenobio Walendi's late challenge caught a Inter de Guayaquil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zenobio Walendi helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Zenobio Walendi. After a defensive mix-up in Balus Treter's zone, Gabriel Gallego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Greshake came out of the goal and Gabriel Gallego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Gabriel Gallego got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Mussoll came free, but Emanuel Greshake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
