In the 8th minute, Guto Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Novaes in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lourenço Velasques saved Ɍυƒυs™ from getting behind. Hélder Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Paulo Renato Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Bezerra. Lourenço Velasques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute Gustavo Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Velasques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Wilson Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goal looked a bit too open when Guto Tinoco came free, but Lourenço Velasques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ɍυƒυs™ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alex Arruda hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Gustavo Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lourenço Velasques. Ɍυƒυs™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Duarte made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Ɍυƒυs™'s Paulo Renato Falcão threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gusmão Leiria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wesley Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ɍυƒυs™'s Lourenço Velasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Tinoco in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goal looked a bit too open when Guto Tinoco came free, but Lourenço Velasques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Renato Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Quintanilha in the 86th minute of play. Paulo Renato Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gusmão Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Lourenço Velasques came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Callegari's Gustavo Duarte. But to his dismay, Gustavo Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ɍυƒυs™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
