Rüstem Akatay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ɍυƒυs™. 16 minutes into the game, Wilson Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ɍυƒυs™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DEMİREL.FC the free kick. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Lourenço Velasques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilson Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DEMİREL.FC's Rüstem Akatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Resende in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Resende in the 23rd minute of play forced DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper Rüstem Akatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüstem Akatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusmão Leiria in the 26th minute of the match. Rüstem Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Resende in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Gusmão Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rüstem Akatay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rüstem Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Maciel in the 29th minute of play. Gusmão Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rüstem Akatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alptuğ Ongunalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 2-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Alptuğ Ongunalp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ɍυƒυs™ defense, Bayram Lütufkâr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lourenço Velasques. The Ɍυƒυs™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lourenço Velasques should have stopped the shot. Wilson Maciel made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 79thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rüstem Akatay would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Ɍυƒυs™ were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after DEMİREL.FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eusébio Quintanilha took the corner.
