FC Steaua Pildesti's Dinu Bălașa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Steaua Pildesti from getting a goal against them. Jaime Rencio charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 13th minute Adam Buș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Bălașa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Hilario Mon sent off a good shot on target. LA LUZ F.C.'s Rosendo Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Buș in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Vali Dinculescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA LUZ F.C. the free kick. Vali Dinculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, LA LUZ F.C.'s Igor Luzea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dinu Bălașa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LA LUZ F.C. reached it. Adam Buș scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Gelmiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to LA LUZ F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Arnoldo Llorian hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes, FC Steaua Pildesti's Liviu Dobrescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosendo Gelmiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Steaua Pildesti reached it. LA LUZ F.C.'s Rosendo Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Ficsinescu in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Aureliano Arce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dinu Bălașa. Aureliano Arce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

In the 74th minute, Jaime Rencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinu Bălașa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Dinu Bălașa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Mon in the 80th minute of play. When Adam Buș fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Steaua Pildesti's protests and gave Adam Buș a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Buș to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, LA LUZ F.C.'s Hilario Mon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinu Bălașa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. LA LUZ F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
