Maximino Berart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Joffre Viñambres made a huge save. After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Aureliano Arce got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rosendo Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramos Berrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramos Berrio in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Gelmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Jerson Iturbide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Gelmiro came out of the goal and Jerson Iturbide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Eléctricos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaramillo Campa to maneuver through the defense. LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ramos Berrio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Rosendo Gelmiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. LA LUZ F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Ubelteso Ribadas scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Gelmiro, making the score, 0-3. Rosendo Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xzaiver Guisla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xzaiver Guisla in the 91st minute of play. LA LUZ F.C.'s Rosendo Gelmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save LA LUZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. Eléctricos F.C. played a much better game than LA LUZ F.C. and deserved their victory. The LA LUZ F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
