Viorel Crăcană didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Veronica went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Luca Brădescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Gelmiro. LA LUZ F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Brădescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Maximino Berart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Viorel Crăcană was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Receanu in the 35th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Rosendo Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Paul Stănoiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rosendo Gelmiro. That made the score 2-2 after 37 minutes of play. 40 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Rosendo Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgil Agudaru. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paul Stănoiu made the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Virgil Agudaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Gabor in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Viorel Crăcană, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Paul Stănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a good free kick, Paul Stănoiu got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for LA LUZ F.C.. 79 minutes into the game, Maximino Berart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Viorel Crăcană was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viorel Crăcană took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Zacarias Pagomari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Muslea. A hard shot by Fabian Rosario from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Viorel Crăcană's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the LA LUZ F.C. defense, Paul Stănoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Gelmiro. The LA LUZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Gelmiro should have stopped the shot.
