The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Zambrano got free with Edson de Castro in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Edgardo Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Ulpiano De Gracia. In the 30th match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Zambrano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Flamengo de San Blás's Ulpiano De Gracia got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Crisólia FBPA booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Fernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Flamengo de San Blás's Edgardo Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Mangueira in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edson de Castro. Crisólia FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Edgardo Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Roberto Neiva hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes, Flamengo de San Blás's Eduardo Mendieta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edson de Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flamengo de San Blás reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Kauan Mangueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgardo Murillo. That made the score 1-1 in the 75 minute of play. Flamengo de San Blás's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Kauan Mangueira scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Murillo, making the score, 1-2. Flamengo de San Blás made a substitution. Alexander Calderón replaced Christian De Gracia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Carranza during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Carranza to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Nestor Leão in the 90th minute really tested Edgardo Murillo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Flamengo de San Blás fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Crisólia FBPA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
