An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Veronica in the 16th minute of play forced Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Edgardo Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Flamengo de San Blás's Alex Pérez got a free kick in the 20th minute. LA LUZ F.C.'s Fabian Rosario was substituted for Orlando Johans. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulpiano De Gracia during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Ulpiano De Gracia. LA LUZ F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
