In the 7th minute, Francisco Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Gustav Wästerberg managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Crisólia FBPA's Kauan Mangueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When André Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Crisólia FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Coutinho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to AC United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fritz Mattsson hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes AC United got a freekick which was hit by Calle Möller. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Guga de Queiroz got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match Eskil Danielsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson de Castro skillfully saved the ball. If André Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Roberto Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustav Wästerberg was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 43rd match minute, AC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. AC United's Gustav Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Mangueira in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kauan Mangueira hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Neiva to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AC United's Fritz Mattsson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gustav Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Mangueira in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Crisólia FBPA booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Crisólia FBPA's Túlio Damião seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Túlio Damião the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Crisólia FBPA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Túlio Damião had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Damião to maneuver through the defense. Crisólia FBPA's Edson de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Mattsson in the 65th minute of play. Gabriel Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Roberto Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustav Wästerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, Roberto Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the AC United defense, André Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustav Wästerberg. The AC United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustav Wästerberg should have stopped the shot. Gustav Wästerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crisólia FBPA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
