Carlos Birjaio struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Gwidon Grunwalski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STARK F.C.. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Carlos Birjaio sped through Gliwicka Torcida's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gwidon Grunwalski. Gwidon Grunwalski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gianluigi Buffon went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute Carlos Birjaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Grunwalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Grunwalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Birjaio in the 15th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Carlos Birjaio sped through Gliwicka Torcida's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gwidon Grunwalski. After 37 played minutes Gliwicka Torcida got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Niezywy. When Lucjan Kazczyk fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gliwicka Torcida's protests and gave Lucjan Kazczyk a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Gliwicka Torcida:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of STARK F.C.:s goal. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for STARK F.C.. Aaron Anselmino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gwidon Grunwalski. 1-4. The audience was convinced that Carlos Birjaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwidon Grunwalski was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Leandro Paredes's late challenge caught a Gliwicka Torcida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Gliwicka Torcida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Kosowski to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

STARK F.C.'s Isidro Cordarin was substituted for Carlos Birjaio. The supporters of STARK F.C. booed when Gliwicka Torcida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Kazczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. STARK F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
