In the 11th minute Fausto Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Jakobe charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Jakobe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Gutenberg's Nestor Ritchie in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 23rd minute, Domingo Larra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ATLETICO TOSODELMA booed when Gutenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Faustino Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gutenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLETICO TOSODELMA the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Faustino Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gutenberg getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gutenberg's attentive Cecilio Txordon managed to snatch the ball when Marcelino Ferrando made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Julian Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Peruanton in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes ATLETICO TOSODELMA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Franco who took care of the corner kick. The long shot by Eduardo Oton in the 56th minute really tested Julian Favila's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 62nd minute, Fausto Peruanton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julian Favila. The goal made the score 0-3. Julian Favila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Peruanton went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Gutenberg made a substitution. Cristobal Fliz replaced Eduardo Oton. Fausto Peruanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gutenberg made a substitution. Baldomero Marcones replaced Nestor Ritchie. Cristobal Fliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gutenberg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gutenberg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
