Evert Ekeberg's late challenge caught a AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Ekeberg helped the player get up and apologised. Viktor Sjöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suryo Kaunang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukita Suharyadi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Jonasson in the 20th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Raka Bachtiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Raka Bachtiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Västlund in the 26th minute of play. Raka Bachtiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Västlund in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Newcastle United F.C. booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukita Suharyadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Sjöman made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kabul Sonjaya sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Newcastle United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Kvalfält. The supporters of AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC booed when Newcastle United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rahmat Mangkulangit hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Edward Ahlqvist came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Newcastle United F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Ahlqvist couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Grubb came free, but Raka Bachtiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kabul Sonjaya made the kick off in the second half. Raka Bachtiar made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Otto Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. Viktor Sjöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kabul Sonjaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Newcastle United F.C.'s Simon Västlund got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Jonasson got free with Raka Bachtiar in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Raka Bachtiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Västlund during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simon Västlund kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Claes Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raka Bachtiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Raka Bachtiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United F.C.. Kabul Sonjaya hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Newcastle United F.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Otto Jonasson hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Kabul Sonjaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Sjöman. Newcastle United F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kabul Sonjaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 89 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Suryo Kaunang broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Newcastle United F.C. for a fine match.
