Codrin Encica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Atatuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gothic Souls the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucrețiu Roşculeţ during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club 23 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lucrețiu Roşculeţ hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 55 minutes, Iulian Cristache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Cristache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rahim Atatuğ took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Encica. Codrin Encica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 63 minutes, Baturay İçöz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gothic Souls and the Club 23 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iulian Cristache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Menderes Hikmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Cătălin Ticulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Gothic Souls failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
