Basri Vefik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the AYYILDIZ defense, Radomil Ruszczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basri Vefik. The AYYILDIZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basri Vefik should have stopped the shot. With 17 minutes on the clock, Wieslaw Nowacki commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Bociany SA's Wieslaw Nowacki got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 23 played minutes AYYILDIZ got a freekick which was hit by Şadi Yücelen. With a little luck, AYYILDIZ's Basri Vefik got control of the ball when Radomil Ruszczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Recep Sanal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Edgar Jucha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Recep Sanal took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Jucha. Edgar Jucha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The supporters of Bociany SA booed when AYYILDIZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muammer Adalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeusz Grunwalski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Basri Vefik made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazlı Şahbaz to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Recep Sanal to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Ender Olgunay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Jucha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zula Skarpiak hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Tansu Bağışhan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Jucha. The goal made the score 3-4. Edgar Jucha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Recep Sanal went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Recep Sanal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as AYYILDIZ's Ender Olgunay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Jucha. That made the score 3-6 after 75 minutes of play. Hieronim Topolski kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Recep Sanal scored 3-7 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Jucha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
