The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Sjöö got free with Sergiu Angheluță in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Vâlcu in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blackjacks's Gert Kaxe got a free kick in the 11th minute. Lucas Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Vâlcu in the 12th minute of the match. Sergiu Angheluță was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Sverker Sjöö capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sverker Sjöö really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Sergiu Angheluță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Sjöö in the 20th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Champions Iasi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blackjacks:s goal. The referee gave Blackjacks a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcus Engström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță. 2-0. Andréas Fransson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiu Angheluță having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Blackjacks's Stig-Arne Dalström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergiu Angheluță. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Dalström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Vâlcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lucas Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Albin Billberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sergiu Angheluță, passed just outside the right post. Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Champions Iasi from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Kaxe during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the Blackjacks players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sverker Sjöö made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Blackjacks's Andréas Fransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergiu Angheluță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Sjöö in the 58th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Sergiu Angheluță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albin Billberg fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blackjacks's protests and gave Albin Billberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Blackjacks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Billberg to maneuver through the defense. When Gert Kaxe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Ozon kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cazimir Zăraşcu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Eriksson came out and tried to block the shot, but Cazimir Zăraşcu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 87th minute. Albin Billberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Angheluță having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Costică Perșa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the Blackjacks players grew even worse after the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Champions Iasi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Blackjacks.
