AYYILDIZ's Basri Vefik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alketas Vertsotis in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Recep Sanal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anthimos Chatzikostas. The goal made the score 1-0. Anthimos Chatzikostas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ender Olgunay in the 12th minute of play. When Anastasios Karidis fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOD OF WAR's protests and gave Anastasios Karidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, AYYILDIZ's Recep Sanal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Anthimos Chatzikostas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of GOD OF WAR booed when AYYILDIZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şadi Yücelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, GOD OF WAR's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Özpolat came free, but Anthimos Chatzikostas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muammer Adalı hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, GOD OF WAR's Anthimos Farmakatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basri Vefik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 31stth minute of the game Anthimos Farmakatos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AYYILDIZ's Basri Vefik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GOD OF WAR's Anthimos Chatzikostas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save GOD OF WAR from getting a goal against them. In the 61st match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şadi Yücelen to maneuver through the defense. Kunter Ülgenalp was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 64 played minutes AYYILDIZ got a freekick which was hit by Kunter Ülgenalp. When Ender Olgunay fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AYYILDIZ's protests and gave Ender Olgunay a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GOD OF WAR booed when AYYILDIZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ender Olgunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orestis Koskinopoulos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basri Vefik. Michalis Bouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basri Vefik having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the AYYILDIZ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
