The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Ekström came free, but Waldemar Rybak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the GKS Milenium defense, Vilhelm Lidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Rybak. The GKS Milenium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Rybak should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Tierp FC's Vilhelm Lidman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Peter Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Cupial, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. GKS Milenium's Waldemar Rybak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Milenium from getting a goal against them. Vilhelm Lidman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Waldemar Rybak made a huge save. With a little luck, GKS Milenium's Waldemar Rybak got control of the ball when Allan Ekström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Tierp FC's Tomas Magnusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Rybak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 39 minutes into the match, Tierp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Waclaw Cupial came free, but Peter Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The supporters of Tierp FC booed when GKS Milenium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Makarewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Vilhelm Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Rybak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Marko Bergsten put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tierp FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The score was 3-1 after a penalty in the 61st minute, where GKS Milenium:s Filip Maziarz tricked Tierp FC:s Peter Åström with a difficult ball by the left post. Stefan Marajda scored 3-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Åström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to GKS Milenium getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Andrzej Makarewicz hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Tierp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Vennerberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Andrzej Gozdowski made a precise shot to the right of Peter Åström. Tierp FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Peter Åström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waclaw Cupial in the 86th minute. Allan Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Waldemar Rybak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Tierp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. Tierp FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
