The supporters of Köping booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Kvick in the 9th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Lars-Erik Wall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Norrlands Athen's Lars-Erik Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Arvidsson in the 13th minute of play. Stig-Arne Skark struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Lars-Erik Wall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köping. The supporters of Köping booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Backman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars-Erik Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Arvidsson in the 24th minute of the match. Lars-Erik Wall was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wiktor Pihlblad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Nils-Åke Arvidsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lars-Erik Wall. The goal made the score 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Arvidsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lars-Erik Wall, 3-0. In the 47th minute Nils-Åke Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Kämpe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Thomas Hjälm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 57 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Arvidsson came free, but Lars-Erik Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Stig-Arne Skark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 92 minutes of play, Köping's Nils-Åke Arvidsson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars-Erik Wall was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roger Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Browall having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Köping players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
