Maciej Niedziela hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Rune Gjessing took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Rybak. Waldemar Rybak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. GKS Milenium's Waldemar Rybak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Gjessing in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Kristian Sandersen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Waldemar Rybak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 25 minutes, Rune Gjessing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Gjessing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maciej Niedziela's late challenge caught a Åsnes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maciej Niedziela helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Maciej Niedziela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Rybak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Vartdal in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Edgard Leirvåg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Rybak. GKS Milenium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Leirvåg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Rune Gjessing scored 0-6 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Rybak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GKS Milenium! 47 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Gjessing came free, but Waldemar Rybak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waclaw Cupial was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Vartdal in the 57th minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Gjessing got free with Waldemar Rybak in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Åsnes's Rune Gjessing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Åsnes booed when GKS Milenium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Makarewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, GKS Milenium's Waldemar Rybak got control of the ball when Rune Gjessing tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Åsnes's Edgard Leirvåg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldemar Rybak. That made the score 0-10 after 78 minutes of play. Maciej Niedziela got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. That made the score 0-11 after 84 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the game, Steffen Askvik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldemar Rybak. Steffen Askvik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Steffen Askvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Rybak having to interfere. Waldemar Rybak was a little too slow when Rune Gjessing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-13.
