With a little luck, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Nicolas Recife got control of the ball when Quincy Minor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Nóbrega in the 6th minute of play. Claudinei Godoi took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heriberto Walton. Heriberto Walton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Heriberto Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Godoi in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Jarrett Poirier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Nóbrega took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heriberto Walton. Heriberto Walton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 19th match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanh Dodd to maneuver through the defense. Heriberto Walton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Maria de Lima went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Moisés Nóbrega took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heriberto Walton. Heriberto Walton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 28th minute, Claudinei Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heriberto Walton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Godoi in the 31st minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Gabriel Xavier made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heriberto Walton was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Xavier in the 37th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heriberto Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Xavier in the 40th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarrett Poirier to make the kick off. Marshall Valenzuela hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Claudinei Godoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Heriberto Walton came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinei Godoi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Xavier in the 58th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Xavier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Heriberto Walton. That made the score 0-9 in the 59 minute of play. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Arsenal de Gols F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heriberto Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heriberto Walton was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Moisés Nóbrega capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moisés Nóbrega really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Arsenal de Gols F.C played a much better game than Vancouver Reds and deserved their victory. The Vancouver Reds players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
