Heriberto Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Romário in the 36th minute of the match. The Vancouver Reds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heriberto Walton should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute Cristiano Romário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heriberto Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
