With a little luck, Ayatolá Inmortals's Enrique Quer got control of the ball when Eurico Jacinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Bacanas FC's Danilo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xofre Bayo in the 5th minute of play. Ayatolá Inmortals's Enrique Quer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Ayatolá Inmortals from getting a goal against them. Danilo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xofre Bayo in the 9th minute of the match. Eurico Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xofre Bayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Jacinto got free with Enrique Quer in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Ayatolá Inmortals's goalkeeper Enrique Quer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eurico Jacinto. Eurico Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xofre Bayo in the 26th minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Danilo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xofre Bayo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Danilo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klimovich Olalla in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Xofre Bayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Noel Palmeira with Davi Santana as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Enrique Quer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eurico Jacinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Xofre Bayo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danilo Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 minutes, Reginaldo Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Bacanas FC and the Ayatolá Inmortals players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reginaldo Esteves hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Allan Pereira put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Enrique Quer. The supporters of Ayatolá Inmortals booed when Los Bacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espínola Seco's late challenge caught a Los Bacanas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Espínola Seco helped the player get up and apologised. Espínola Seco hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Célio Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Enrique Quer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Célio Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Los Bacanas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Dionísio couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ayatolá Inmortals's zone, Eurico Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Quer came out of the goal and Eurico Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Eurico Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurico Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Klimovich Olalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléber Estela kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ayatolá Inmortals defense, Eurico Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Quer. The Ayatolá Inmortals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Quer should have stopped the shot. Ayatolá Inmortals's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
