The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal de Gols F.C's Claudinei Godoi. But to his dismay, Claudinei Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Moisés Nóbrega hit a great ball. Gabriel Xavier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Arsenal de Gols F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Godoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olívio Arruda could save by the left post. Caco Vianna hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Gabriel Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Xavier in the 29th minute of play. Claudinei Godoi scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Dionísio during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Célio Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Nóbrega in the 41st minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Los Bacanas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudinei Godoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Claudinei Godoi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Célio Dionísio made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Godoi came free, but Olívio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Bacanas FC's Célio Dionísio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolas Recife. That made the score 3-1 after 57 minutes of play. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Célio Dionísio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. After 61 played minutes Los Bacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Dionísio. Olívio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Xavier in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Los Bacanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Pires to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olívio Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Godoi came free, but Olívio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Ademir Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Arruda. Los Bacanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ademir Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 75 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Godoi came free, but Olívio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Reginaldo Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Los Bacanas FC's Humberto Pires got a free kick in the 84th minute. Afonso Rodrigues made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Reginaldo Esteves immediately put the ball in play. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Xavier in the 87th minute of play. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal de Gols F.C's Moisés Nóbrega. But to his dismay, Moisés Nóbrega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arsenal de Gols F.C fully deserved thier win.
