Célio Dionísio started the match with the kick off. Desmond Lynch kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Marshall Valenzuela hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Allan Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heriberto Walton skillfully saved the ball. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarrett Poirier in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Bacanas FC defense, Desmond Lynch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Arruda. The Los Bacanas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Arruda should have stopped the shot. Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanh Dodd, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrett Poirier in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Marshall Valenzuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Caco Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alfred Prince, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Los Bacanas FC's Caco Vianna got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanh Dodd in the 44th minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarrett Poirier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quincy Minor in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 played minutes Los Bacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Pereira. Olívio Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarrett Poirier in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Célio Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Bacanas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vancouver Reds the free kick. Célio Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Olívio Arruda made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Thanh Dodd sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Dionísio in the 68th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Heriberto Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marshall Valenzuela. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Bacanas FC from getting a goal against them. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Minor in the 79th minute of play. Vancouver Reds's Heriberto Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Dionísio in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarrett Poirier got free with Olívio Arruda in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quincy Minor in the 90th minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Desmond Lynch took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Olívio Arruda to make any attempt to save it. Vancouver Reds's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
