Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Francisco Falcão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Elequemedo came free, but Bebeto Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Falcão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Abajas was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Club's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fabian Abajas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bebeto Paranaense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Anselmo Pinto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal.
