Med Gang FC were furious when Per-Åke Rönn was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ragnar Löfgren took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hermengildo Arotza to make any attempt to save it. Hermengildo Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Löfgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The supporters of Academia Club booed when Med Gang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Söderqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academia Club's Hermengildo Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Löfgren in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Med Gang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Dalgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tommy Dalgren came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Med Gang FC fans jumped to their feet. Med Gang FC's George Tomasson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Academia Club. Med Gang FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
