The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Onbera got free with Alfredo Paes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Lluis. With a little luck, IGUIPORÃ FC's Alfredo Paes got control of the ball when Teo Lluis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Paes made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Teo Lluis sent off a good shot on target. Fernando de Brito hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. IGUIPORÃ FC's attentive Perivaldo Veloso managed to snatch the ball when Damaso Opilano made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Damaso Opilano in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by IGUIPORÃ FC's Víktor dos Santos. In the 20th minute Americo Onbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Americo Onbera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Paes. Americo Onbera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Onbera came free, but Alfredo Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando de Brito during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Fernando de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elivélton Cerezo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Tiadoro. Alfredo Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Lluis went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilson Guedes made a kick off. Americo Onbera hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando de Brito in the 54th minute of play forced Abasto fútbol club's goalkeeper Paulino Tiadoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Patricio Locaio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abasto fútbol club's protests and gave Patricio Locaio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute Guga Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Tiadoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Jardel Félix got a free kick in the 66th minute. Braulio Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Braulio Ralondo's late challenge caught a IGUIPORÃ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Ralondo helped the player get up and apologised. Braulio Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Paulino Tiadoro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guilherme Seco. Paulino Tiadoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilson Guedes in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Gilson Guedes got a free kick in the 75th minute. Alfredo Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Onbera in the 76th minute of the match. When Braulio Ralondo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 85th match minute, IGUIPORÃ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Félix to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Abasto fútbol club's Americo Onbera tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the IGUIPORÃ FC defense, Cornelio Nabar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Paes. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Paes should have stopped the shot. If Fernando de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abasto fútbol club had won after a very even match.
