Hermengildo Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Rutenio in the 19th minute of the match. Cipriano Dantae was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Hipolito Elequemedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hipolito Elequemedo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 26th minute, Wilfredo Ritchie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the TIBURON F.C defense, Hipolito Elequemedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Dantae. The TIBURON F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Dantae should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Rutenio to strike the kick off in the second half. The TIBURON F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
