Basílio Veloso came out of the goal and Anthony Di Muzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Felice Domina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC Civetta Notturna getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Demetrio Colelli hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, AC Civetta Notturna's Anthony Di Muzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Ruscitti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Basílio Veloso made a huge save. IGUIPORÃ FC's Basílio Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Allegretti in the 53rd minute of play. IGUIPORÃ FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Felice Domina scored to the left of an out of position Basílio Veloso, making the score, 0-3. IGUIPORÃ FC's Basílio Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save IGUIPORÃ FC from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Veloso notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AC Civetta Notturna's Alvaro Zaccardi. Alvaro Zaccardi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Zeca Santana got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Anthony Di Muzio had several of the IGUIPORÃ FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Basílio Veloso as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AC Civetta Notturna eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
