An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Mello in the 15th minute of play forced Med Gang FC's goalkeeper Harry Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Sidnei de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Grêmio RK75's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
