Paunero's Fabio Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordairo Torrente in the 5th minute of play. Pontus Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Gaufred during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Rufio in the 10th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Valdemar Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paunero's Fabio Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordairo Torrente in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Honung booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Dan Hedkvist in the 23rd minute really tested Fabio Fagildo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Valdemar Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Chan in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Johnny Joensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Pontus Ekgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabio Fagildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marciano Fe hit a great ball. Dan Hedkvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Erik Biörk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Ekgren in the 52nd minute of play. Pontus Ekgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Fagildo having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Paunero's Felix Ler seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Ler the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paunero protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Ler had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Felix Ler kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cordairo Torrente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Fagildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Fabio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Ekgren in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Biörk came free, but Fabio Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Jens-Erik Biörk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Jonathan Dalkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Fagildo. Paunero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Dalkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Fabio Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Joensson in the 73rd minute of the match. If Pontus Ekgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jens-Erik Biörk fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honung's protests and gave Jens-Erik Biörk a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Honung getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jens-Erik Biörk hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Jens-Erik Biörk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Erik Biörk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Honung were the better team. Honung's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
