Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Joensson in the 4th minute of the match. Josselin Portet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Lundqvist in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Urban Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Josselin Portet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josselin Portet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Biörk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Honung were awarded a corner. Patric Ambjörnsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Patric Ambjörnsson made a great header on Honung's corner, it was just that Ground Control's Josselin Portet managed to reach the ball for a save. Ground Control's Youri Lignon got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvain Chiffoleau to maneuver through the defense. Sylvain Chiffoleau was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 35th minute, Sylvain Chiffoleau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ground Control's Sacha Amara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfred Vikström, made in the 42nd minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Erik Biörk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ewan Cuvier to maneuver through the defense. Urban Lundqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Josselin Portet firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Urban Lundqvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Josselin Portet to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Honung's Jens-Erik Biörk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Josselin Portet. That made the score 1-3 after 69 minutes of play. Kamel Beche kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Honung's Patric Ambjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Biörk in the 77th minute of the match. Youri Lignon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Granberg having to make a save. Honung's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
