The attack was good, but when Youri Lignon in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Adão Porto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Sylvain Chiffoleau sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GD Almargense's Micael Torcato didn't even have to move. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 72nd match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofiane Donnat to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Luís Noronha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ground Control's Josselin Portet. Josselin Portet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lázaro Seabra got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luís Noronha. 84 minutes into the match, Ramiro Pais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josselin Portet. Ground Control's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Pais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 86th minute, Sylvain Chiffoleau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Noronha in the 87th minute of the match.
