In the 11th minute, Aureliano Mano made a precise shot to the right of Josselin Portet. Ground Control's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Jonas Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josselin Portet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ground Control's Youri Lignon got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Youri Lignon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paunero's Uriel Bingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Paunero from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Rodrigo Kaxen got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armand Marcos got free with Uriel Bingen in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 minutes, Alphonse Mathevet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ground Control and the Paunero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paunero made a substitution. Vinicio Baumer replaced Mauro Cordarrell. In the 58th minute, Alphonse Mathevet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinicio Baumer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Josselin Portet. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Vinicio Baumer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Paunero's Jonas Sugoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josselin Portet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Paunero booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Fouet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ground Control's Alphonse Mathevet quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jeronimo Demesio, made in the 95th minute of the game. If Youri Lignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paunero's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
