The referee ignored Paunero's protests and gave Jonatan Chan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Chan to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Noronha came free, but Uriel Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aureliano Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Bingen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uriel Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Carmo in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Lisandro Rufio got a free kick in the 29th minute. Uriel Bingen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micael Fontoura went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Luís Noronha made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Bingen. Paunero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's Luís Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Bingen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Lázaro Seabra hit a great ball. Fabio Fagildo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Micael Torcato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paunero.

The wind increased when Luís Noronha made the kick off in the second half. Luís Noronha took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Bingen. Uriel Bingen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Uriel Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micael Fontoura in the 59th minute of the match. Micael Torcato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Noronha got free with Uriel Bingen in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Luís Noronha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GD Almargense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 67 minutes, Mauro Cordarrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paunero and the GD Almargense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GD Almargense walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
