Thanks to some nice moves Mihai Poalelungi could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Marian Ciolpan however easily saved by the left post. In the 10thth minute of the game Eliodor Petran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paralia Athens's Marian Ciolpan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliodor Petran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marian Ciolpan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Paralia Athens's Marian Ciolpan got control of the ball when Eliodor Petran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Buffalo Timişoara were awarded a corner. Emil Filipoiu went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute Iustinian Gurlui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Ciolpan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionuț Marin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Chițes having to make a save. Valeriu Floricel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Chițes having to interfere. In the 37th minute Ionuț Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Chițes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Manuel Marghescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. David Chițes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliodor Petran was the one to do the kick off. Marian Ciolpan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Gurlui, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Manuel Marghescu struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. David Chițes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paralia Athens. After 54 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Mălăele. Marian Ciolpan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Petran, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alexandru Zăgănescu hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ionuț Marin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Chițes, 0-3. Paralia Athens's Ionuț Marin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustinian Gurlui in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Ciolpan saved Paralia Athens from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Iustinian Gurlui put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Marian Ciolpan. Iustinian Gurlui scored 2-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Ciolpan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Buffalo Timişoara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Paralia Athens's performance. The match ended with a win for Paralia Athens.
