The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Eliodor Petran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andor Szuper. Pénzügyőr SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliodor Petran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Eliodor Petran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buffalo Timişoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihai Poalelungi in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andor Szuper saved Pénzügyőr SE from getting behind. In the 21st minute Filip Graur suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Miklós Latabár's late challenge caught a Buffalo Timişoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miklós Latabár helped the player get up and apologised. Buffalo Timişoara's Andrei Tolea was substituted for Filip Graur. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Latabár didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Andrei Zâncă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buffalo Timişoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pénzügyőr SE the free kick. In the 24th minute of the match József Borsó shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Chițes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andor Szuper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Zâncă in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Mihai Poalelungi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andor Szuper. Mihai Poalelungi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Andor Szuper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliodor Petran went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Andor Szuper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliodor Petran in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Mugur Hudiță sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andor Szuper skillfully saved the ball. After 48 played minutes Pénzügyőr SE got a freekick which was hit by Csaba Dudics. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
Andor Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Petran in the 53rd minute of play. Andor Szuper came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Eliodor Petran. But to his dismay, Eliodor Petran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliodor Petran in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andor Szuper saved Pénzügyőr SE from getting behind. In the 59th minute Mihai Poalelungi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andor Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Zâncă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Csaba Lázár didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes, Buffalo Timişoara's Mugur Hudiță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andor Szuper came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buffalo Timişoara reached it. 64 minutes into the game, Buffalo Timişoara's Andrei Zâncă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andor Szuper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 68 minutes into the game, Andrei Zâncă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Andor Szuper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Buffalo Timişoara's David Chițes got control of the ball when Miklós Latabár tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eliodor Petran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andor Szuper was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Andor Szuper came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Iustinian Gurlui. But to his dismay, Iustinian Gurlui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After a rather tough play, Buffalo Timişoara's Gabriel Caloian got a free kick in the 81st minute. József Borsó hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Mihai Poalelungi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Poalelungi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andor Szuper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihai Poalelungi went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Latabár didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Eliodor Petran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eliodor Petran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andor Szuper was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Eliodor Petran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andor Szuper was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. There was no doubt that Buffalo Timişoara were the better team. Buffalo Timişoara's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
