Gildas Montaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Bertassi having to interfere. If Gil Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Samuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Charles Gauche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ramón Bertassi made a huge save. Ramón Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Charles Gauche in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the game, Jean-Charles Gauche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ramón Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Samuel's late challenge caught a Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Samuel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Jonathan Samuel got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Gil Peres struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Norbert Domenech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ. In the 67th match minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Paraense to maneuver through the defense.
