Matheus Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Anastasio Salvidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Retorno de Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Salvidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertinho Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Pombal to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes of play, Raining Blood's Gualter Secco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Urtats was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Gualter Secco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Urtats. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Secco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Raining Blood getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marcel Andrade hit a great ball. The supporters of Raining Blood booed when El Retorno de Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Gualter Secco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Urtats. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Secco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Higinio Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Raining Blood's Waldir Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Waldir Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raining Blood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dé Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Matheus Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Urtats. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Mangueira in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Mesquita. Raining Blood made a substitution. Gil Figueiredo replaced Luís Eduardo Leão. Raining Blood made a substitution. Remo Magalhães replaced Matheus Mesquita. Matheus Mesquita hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remo Magalhães got free with Amancio Urtats in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, Gualter Secco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amancio Urtats. Gualter Secco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The Raining Blood fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Raining Blood's Gualter Secco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th minute of the match, Remo Magalhães got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amancio Urtats was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 91 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Figueiredo came free, but Amancio Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Amancio Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remo Magalhães. Remo Magalhães succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 96th playminute. Raining Blood's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
