Amancio Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Lägdin in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulf Melin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Amancio Urtats made a huge save. After some careless play in the El Retorno de Palermo defense, Jens-Ove Lingren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Urtats. The El Retorno de Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Urtats should have stopped the shot. Anastasio Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Viktor Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Salvidor in the 32nd minute of play forced Nusnäs IF's goalkeeper Viktor Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Nusnäs IF's Jens-Ove Lingren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Urtats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amancio Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Andberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. Victor Lehior kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Bitxintxo to strike the kick off in the second half. Amancio Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Andberg in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Nusnäs IF got a corner. El Retorno de Palermo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mats Ekgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Michael Lägdin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Amancio Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Lägdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lingren, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 64 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Anaya. After recieving a nice pass, Nusnäs IF's Mats Ekgren tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jens-Ove Lingren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Amancio Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Anaya hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Amancio Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lingren, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Michael Lägdin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats. Amancio Urtats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 78 played minutes Nusnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Kvick. Viktor Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Michael Lägdin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nusnäs IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Amancio Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Andberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Salvidor hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nusnäs IF had played much better football throughout.
