Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SV Bad Harzburg's Herwig Fehr started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gideon Weber didn't get a good kick on the ball. SV Bad Harzburg's Gerald Zapf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. Gerald Zapf was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Sylvester Stallone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sylvester Stallone really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Jean-Claude Van Damme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAFFIAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Claude Van Damme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Zahnleiter. MAFFIAN's Sylvester Stallone got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, David Tamm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorsten Kristl to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Leonard Stephansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerald Zapf skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Tamm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, MAFFIAN's Max Håning dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Gerald Zapf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Max Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Zapf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnold Schwarzenegger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerald Zapf. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Gerald Zapf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Max Håning fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gerald Zapf, passed just outside the right post. Gerald Zapf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as MAFFIAN's Jean-Claude Van Damme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerald Zapf. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Arnold Schwarzenegger took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Gerald Zapf to make any attempt to save it. Jean-Claude Van Damme took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerald Zapf. Gerald Zapf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Claude Van Damme was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Schwarzenegger came free, but Gerald Zapf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerald Zapf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 55th minute of the match. Gerald Zapf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Stallone in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Högström to maneuver through the defense. Gerald Zapf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 63rd minute of the match. Gideon Weber's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Kjell-Arne Hultman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAFFIAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frido Sandkühler was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to SV Bad Harzburg's David Tamm getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 70th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Gerald Zapf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rouven Knabe hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, MAFFIAN's Jean-Claude Van Damme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerald Zapf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 76 minutes into the match, Arnold Schwarzenegger notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of SV Bad Harzburg's Gerald Zapf. Gerald Zapf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerald Zapf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 87th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the MAFFIAN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
