The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remigiusz Domaracki kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With 7 minutes on the clock, Bernard Brytka commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szalone Konie fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Arnold Schwarzenegger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Winograd having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Szalone Konie's Leszek Pyrzyce got a free kick in the 12th minute. Szymon Winograd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 16th minute of the match. Szymon Winograd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Claude Van Damme's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Szymon Winograd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Claude Van Damme, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kjell-Arne Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Domaracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Jean-Claude Van Damme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Szymon Winograd. Szalone Konie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Claude Van Damme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szymon Winograd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Szymon Winograd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 43rd minute of play. Szymon Winograd came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's Jean-Claude Van Damme. But to his dismay, Jean-Claude Van Damme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Kalinowski in the 52nd minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Szalone Konie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Domaracki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szymon Winograd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvester Stallone in the 61st minute of play forced Szalone Konie's goalkeeper Szymon Winograd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigiusz Domaracki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Jörn Gustafsson replaced Jim Nilsson. After a rather tough play, Szalone Konie's Remigiusz Domaracki got a free kick in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Sylvester Stallone took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Szymon Winograd to make any attempt to save it. Sylvester Stallone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Szymon Winograd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Szymon Winograd managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when MAFFIAN's Jean-Claude Van Damme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77th match minute, Szalone Konie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Cempa to maneuver through the defense. MAFFIAN's Sylvester Stallone shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Szymon Winograd but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Szalone Konie's Szymon Winograd got control of the ball when Jean-Claude Van Damme tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 82nd minute of play forced Szalone Konie's goalkeeper Szymon Winograd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-6 became the score in the 84th minute when Arnold Schwarzenegger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jean-Claude Van Damme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Szymon Winograd made a huge save. In the 88th minute Arnold Schwarzenegger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Winograd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Schwarzenegger scored 0-7 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Szymon Winograd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Szymon Winograd was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Jean-Claude Van Damme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jean-Claude Van Damme really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8.
