An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Maltez in the 29th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Telinhos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes of play, MAFFIAN's Arnold Schwarzenegger made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Vilela was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Manuel Brás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnold Schwarzenegger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Schwarzenegger came free, but Francisco Vilela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Maltez to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 52nd minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper Francisco Vilela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Vilela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 56th minute of play. Kjell-Arne Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AM United's Alexandrino Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kjell-Arne Hultman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kjell-Arne Hultman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Maltez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MAFFIAN fully deserved thier win.
