MAFFIAN's Kjell-Arne Hultman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Mesquita in the 18th minute of play. Rony Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Högström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Sylvester Stallone got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rony Paiva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 27 minutes into the game, Arnold Schwarzenegger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rony Paiva. Arnold Schwarzenegger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jean-Claude Van Damme kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jean-Claude Van Damme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rony Paiva made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Claude Van Damme got free with Rony Paiva in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Arnold Schwarzenegger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rony Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Rony Paiva was a little too slow when Arnold Schwarzenegger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredão Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jörn Gustafsson hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Schwarzenegger came free, but Rony Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Josefsson during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 91 minutes into the game, one of MAFFIAN:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 96 minutes of play, Sport Club Mavericks's Davi Rossi made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell-Arne Hultman was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MAFFIAN had played much better football throughout.
