The Lucky Star fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Lucky Star's Riswan Batubara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, LosPibardos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sondang Gultom came free, but Belarmino Revuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiz Benítez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Kamal Habib made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Riswan Batubara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belarmino Revuelta was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raphael Comas to strike the kick off in the second half. Frits Darmawan's late challenge caught a LosPibardos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frits Darmawan helped the player get up and apologised. If Francesco Colillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Belarmino Revuelta managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Lucky Star's Riswan Batubara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the LosPibardos F.C defense, Giring Suprianto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belarmino Revuelta. The LosPibardos F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belarmino Revuelta should have stopped the shot. Kamal Habib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Colillas in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lucky Star eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
