The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stig-Åke Brogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Brzonkala, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Stig-Åke Brogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Rozanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Salkvist. In the 19th minute, Arkadiusz Rozanski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klement Brzonkala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Brogren having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Brzonkala came free, but Stig-Åke Brogren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Rozanski let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 25th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. The supporters of Elefanterna booed when Yelonki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobiasz Tamulewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkadiusz Rozanski scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Brogren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Kajetan Fabiszak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yelonki's supporters rose to their feet, but Kajetan Fabiszak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Åke Brogren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Lennart Busk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arkadiusz Rozanski got free with Stig-Åke Brogren in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Klement Brzonkala notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Elefanterna's Stig-Åke Brogren. Stig-Åke Brogren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkadiusz Rozanski in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Brogren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stig-Åke Brogren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Rozanski's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 68th match minute, Yelonki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Brzeszczak to maneuver through the defense. Yelonki made a substitution. Hugon Pryputnicki took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Åke Brogren. Stig-Åke Brogren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 87 minutes into the game, Hugon Pryputnicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Stig-Åke Brogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yelonki had won after a very even match.
