In the 16th match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Ascencio to maneuver through the defense. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. In the 21st minute Bendik Strande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Ticho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Ascencio took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Molland. Philip Molland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Brufoss IL's Edvin Fleischer suffered a sore foot after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 45 minutes, Alejo Gizon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almeyra F.C. and the Brufoss IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasper Munkvold to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasper Munkvold in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Ticho saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. Almeyra F.C.'s Edelmiro Ticho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Munkvold in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Brufoss IL's Philip Molland got control of the ball when Roman Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edelmiro Ticho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edelmiro Ticho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Munkvold in the 81st minute of the match. Edelmiro Ticho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper Munkvold's shot from short distance in the 87th minute.
